I aimed to create a range of ceramic jewellery that was as individual as Tony’s ceramic pieces.
Personally, I like to wear jewellery that is individual and colourful but also simple, elegant and wearable. Something that looks good with jeans and a t-shirt but just as good with a little black dress!
So, each piece of our jewellery is individually designed with this in mind and made using fine porcelain decorated with glazes and precious metals including 24ct gold. The rich colours and textures are reminiscent of tapestry and brocade. The vibrant colours and pastels are inspired by the landscapes of the Provence.
I have then added simple, elegant fittings, mainly using leather and rubber to create a contemporary, unique and very wearable piece of jewellery.
The porcelain is fired to high temperature which makes it durable but also light and comfortable to wear. The decoration is fired on to the porcelain and so will not be altered by heat, sunlight or perfumes. Metal fittings are nickel free.
